NO DONATION IS TOO BIG OR TOO SMALL >>> EVERY DOLLAR MAKES AN IMPACT!
I grew up on a farm just outside of West Bend, WI, with my parents and five siblings. The family of eight has now grown to 32 including in-laws, and nieces and nephews with two siblings still working on the farm where we enjoy helping as often as we can!
From an early age my family was involved in my local church and faith has been an important part of my life. I went to college at UW-Madison, majoring in Biochemistry. St. Paul's Campus Ministry was a significant part of my undergrad experience. As God worked in my life, I switched majors to Religious Studies. During my time at the University of Madison is where I met my wife, Sarah. We both graduated in 2004. 2004 also included my start as the Directors of
Religious Education and Youth Ministry at St. Aloysius in Sauk City; getting married, and moving to Sauk Prairie. St. Al's brought us many wonderful memories, including leading our first mission trips, and building numerous friendships over six years.
In 2010, God called us to a new ministry to serve
our community. 6:8 was born. 6:8 aims to transform communities by making service personal prioritizing: relationship, education, reciprocity, and quality of service, hoping to embody Christ in the way we live. Our plan is to give all we have to the people we are serving with and for so that our community can be transformed!
I was thrilled to learn about the Baraboo Area Homeless Shelter and its approach to foster community and invest in the entire person they are serving. I hope to be an asset to the board in its formative years as it navigates from planning to action, to investing in people's lives in our
communities.
Thank you for your continued support and prayers that sustain us!
